Dr. Withowski grew up on Long Island and earned her undergraduate degree in English from Stony Brook University in 2011. She received her DVM from St. George’s University with her clinical training completed at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She then completed a one-year large animal field service and comparative theriogenology internship with the University of Georgia. In 2018, Dr. Withowski began a companion animal theriogenology residency position at North Carolina State University, jointly funded by the American Kennel Club, AKC-Canine Health Foundation and Theriogenology Foundation. This collaborative program provided training in both companion animal reproduction and clinical genetics. During her residency, she served as a consultant for a companion animal genetics service. Dr. Withowski enjoys all aspects of reproduction, neonatology and aiding in the preservation of genetics for the purpose-bred animal. She especially enjoys working with breeders and the small role she is able to play in advancing the forward progress of the health of our companion animals. Dr. Withowski lives in Easton with her bred-by champion weimaraner (now a retired couch potato) named Rex. She is thrilled to be ocean-side once again and is enjoying the Eastern Shore lifestyle.
